I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and of Princeton University, currently providing economic development and real estate advisory services for public and private sector clients with Kosmont Companies, a private economic development consulting firm in the Los Angeles area. I have also worked for a residential developer in Philadelphia and a Los Angeles-based economic consulting firm specializing in the entertainment and  attractions industry.

In addition to my work in the private sector, I have also served in the public sector. Between June 2011 and June 2012, I worked as a Transportation Policy and Planning Intern for the City of Philadelphia Mayor's Office of Transportation and Utilities.

Furthermore, I completed the USC Ross Program in Real Estate Development where I led my team to completing and presenting an award-winning development proposal to a panel of municipal and private sector real estate professionals.

Assist municipal and private sector clients across California with market and economic analyses, strategic planning, and real estate development advisory services. Create and present informative presentations to cities and organizations related to market trends in real estate and economic development policy.

 

Recent work includes: demographic and market supply and demand analyses (for all types of development, including hotel and retail); highest and best use analyses; fiscal impact analyses; tax increment analyses; prioritization of strategic opportunity sites; strategies for downtown revitalization; and analyses of development incentives, potential development uses, transit priority areas, zoning, and financing strategies for future real estate development projects. Identify appropriate partners for public-private partnership (P3) development through creation of request for proposal/qualifications (RFP/Q) and evaluation of RFP/Q responses; produce digital and physical marketing collateral of various opportunity sites and market them to potential developers and retailers; and conduct geospatial analyses of boundaries and funding and financial feasibility studies of new infrastructure financing districts, such as Enhanced Infrastructure Financing Districts (EIFDs) and Community Revitalization and Investment Authorities (CRIAs).

Conducted research and developed reports for an exhibit attraction study for the National Geographic Museum in Washington, D.C.; a pre-feasibility study for a proposed retail, dining, and entertainment establishment in the city of Grapevine, Texas; and a feasibility study for a potential retail destination near Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Duties included researching resident and overnight visitor markets, investigating comparable attractions and developments, conducting attendance scenarios for different development schemes, and producing financial feasibility analyses.

  • “Demographic Mapping of Crime in the City of Chicago”: Project involved mapping crime victim statistics to support a pilot program, headed by the former director of White House Education Initiatives, to curb violence in Chicago communities with primarily minority populations.

  • “Nationwide Site Selection for Cellular Towers”: Worked with Paul Amos, Managing Director, Wharton GIS Lab to conduct research for a site-selection project for cellular towers across the United States.  Utilized ArcGIS to map sites using defined variables with county-specific data.  Utilized Business Analyst data to source concentrations of other commercial venues in order to rate sites.
